Sublimation printing is a technique that uses heat sensitive inks. These inks turn into gas under the influence of heat and combine with a 100% polyester medium. Since the ink becomes part of the structure of the material, the images on the fabric don’t fade or crack – even after multiple washings. The beautiful part of this process is that the color options are endless.
Screen printing is a technique where the ink is applied directly to the surface that is being printed on. The image that is being printed is photographically transferred to a very fine fabric (known as the screen), basically acting as a stencil. The ink is then wiped across the screen to pass through the stencil. For each color to be printed a separate screen is prepared and the process is repeated.
Digital printing is extremely similar to sublimation wherein the ink becomes part of the structure of the material. This technique however is applied in a specific location on the garment or item, instead of seam-to-seam with sublimation.
Embroidery brings a depth and dimension to your logo that is impossible to achieve in printing. Embroidery has the advantage of being three-dimensional; it has texture, as well as length and width. Embroidered logos have character, durability, and, often, great beauty. All embroidered logos are measured in stitches. The bigger and more complex the logo, the longer it takes to digitize. We define a standard-size logo as generally having less than 11,000 stitches. Most of our customers' logos actually require far fewer than 7,500 stitches, so odds are very good that your logo is standard-size.
The Pantone solid color system, with over 1100 unique, numbered colors, was originally devised to help printers and designers specify and control colors for print projects. This is the most widely used Pantone palette, with colors sometimes referred to as 'PMS' (for Pantone Matching System) or 'spot colors', and is used in the graphics, print, and publishing, industries.
